I have done about 6 real estate transactions, all with different brokers but didn't really find my groove with any of them. Yes, they were nice enough. Yes, they helped me get competitive rates. But at the end of the day, I didn't feel like I was anything more than a client number or commission check to them. A broker should be a relationship because even if you only ever buy 1 property in your lifetime (which is unlikely), you will still want someone you trust and like to help you refinance, etc because property is such a long-term purchase.
